Fill Phone License For Free

Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center. Go to Billing > Purchase services > Add-ons. Scroll to find the Microsoft Teams Phone Resource Account license. Select Buy now.

Assign a license In the Microsoft 365 admin center, expand Users, then select Active users. Select the resource account to which you want to assign a license. The resource account's user pane will appear. On the Licenses and Apps tab, under Licenses, select Microsoft Teams Phone Resource Account. Select Save changes.

Before you become too happy, the free-of-charge audio conferencing is only available as an add-on to eligible licenses, being: Microsoft 365 F1, F3 and E3. Office 365 F3, E1 and E3. Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard and Premium.

Buy a Microsoft 365 Business, E1/E3, A1/A3, or G1/G3 plan and add Teams Phone with Calling Plan bundle licenses. This model will give you Teams Phone System PBX capabilities and a Microsoft Domestic Calling Plan. Choose this setup if you want all phone number management and billing to be handled by Microsoft.

Common Area Phone License ? $8/device/month The SKU includes the Microsoft Phone System License, so those devices can accept calls and join meetings; however, the room cannot initiate the conference (would need an Audio Conferencing license).

The Office 365 Enterprise E5 plan includes most Skype for Business features. There are just a few additional options. Audio Conferencing is included! Once you buy the license, Microsoft will be your audio conferencing provider.

In order for Teams to dial or receive calls from cell phones and land lines, Microsoft requires each user to have the Microsoft Teams Phone Standard License.
