Comments can be added to a document that do not change the document. You can insert a comment inside balloons that will appear in the document margins. They can also be hidden until you want to edit your paper.

Cucumber feature files can have comments at any place. To put comments, we just need to start the statement with ?#? sign.

Feature file only supports comments with a # sign. We put # at the beginning of our Comment. You want to do a single line or multiple line comments; you need to put # before all lines. The parser will ignore every line which starts with #.

Adding line comments to a pull request Under your repository name, click Pull requests. In the list of pull requests, click the pull request where you'd like to leave line comments. On the pull request, click Files changed. Hover over the line of code where you'd like to add a comment, and click the blue comment icon.

Formatting Comments in Word 2016 (Office 365) Select the comments. Click Home>Styles Pane. In general, the current style for comments should be Comment Text.Click the arrow beside Format in the lower left corner>Numbering. Select Numbered>choose a numbering format>OK>OK. The comments will be numbered after that.

Choose how you view comments In the Comments pane, you can see a single list of all comments in your document, including resolved comments. To switch between the contextual view and the Comments pane, simply click the Comments button in the upper right corner of your Word window.

To comment multi line or use block comment select all the line and press Ctrl + / in Eclipse. Other IDE may have other shortcuts for doing this. Similarly to remove comment press Ctrl + / again.

In Word, you can use comments to add notes to the document content. Comments are saved with the document and travel with the document if you share it with others. Comments are especially useful in the editing and reviewing process of a Word document.
