Edit Footer Text For Free

Sign in to your WordPress dashboard. Go to Appearance ? Customize. In the website customization menu, click on Footer. You can edit the footer by using widgets to add new sections or by editing the content and style of the footer bar.

Change or delete a header or footer on a single page Double-click the first page header or footer area. Check Different First Page to see if it's selected. If not: Select Different First Page. ... Add your new content into the header or footer. Select Close Header and Footer or press Esc to exit.

To change the information in your footer, navigate to your Settings panel under the Website Builder and modify your footer in the Footer HTML field. The information from your Footer HTML field will appear somewhere in your footer, depending on the theme that you are using.

Click INSERT > Header & Footer. Click the Slide tab, make the changes you want, and click either Apply to apply the changes to the selected slides, or Apply to All to make the changes to all the slides. If you don't want the footer to appear in the title slide, check the Don't show on title slide box.

Go to Insert > Footer > Footer. In the Footer pane, select Footer. In the Footer box, enter the footer text you want. If you have multiple slides selected, select Apply to Selected Slides.

To lock the shape you just inserted, right- click it and then click Lock on the shortcut menu, or click the Selection Pane button on the Shape Format menu, and then click the Lock icon to the right of the object name. To unlock, click the Unlock icon to the right of the object name in the Selection pane.

Editing headers and footers. After you close the header or footer, it will still be visible, but it will be locked. Simply double-click a header or footer to unlock it, which will allow you to edit it.

Note: To edit any existing header or footer, open the Header & Footer Tools by double-clicking inside the header or footer area....Try it! Select Insert > Header or Footer. Select one of the built in designs. Type the text you want in the header or footer. Select Close Header and Footer when you're done.
