Edit Email Text For Free

Try it! Select the Sent Items folder. Select or double-click the message so it opens in another window. Select File > Info. Select Message Resend and Recall > Recall This Message..., and select one of the two options.Select the Tell me if recall succeeds or fails for each recipient check box. Select OK.

In Outlook, open up the message that you want to edit. Go to Message > Actions > Edit Message. You can make whatever changes you'd like, like fix spelling mistakes or make annotations.

Open the email by double-clicking it, then select Actions > Edit Message on the ribbon. Now place your cursor in the body of the email and add text or edit the existing text. When you've finished, click the ?Save? button and close the email. That's all there is to it.

In the drop down box titled Choose Commands From, select All Commands. Go down the alphabetical list to Edit Message and click the Add button to add this menu to the Quick Access Toolbar.

Scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes. When you send an email, an Undo button will appear on the bottom left. Click Undo, and the email will return as a draft for you to continue editing.

You can find many of these options by selecting File > Options. To view these options in Microsoft Outlook, in an email message, click File > Options > Mail > Editor Options > Advanced.

Please do as follows: Open the Sent Items folder, and double click to open the specified sent email you will edit. The truth is you cannot edit an email once it has been sent. Imagine your email as a letter you have put into a mailbox. Once the mail is picked up, you are unable to take back the letter.
