Edit Bullets Log For Free

On the Home tab in the Ribbon, click the down arrow next to the number list button. In drop-down window that appears, select one of the numbered list options with letters. Type the text for the first lettered bullet item. Press Enter to add additional lettered bullet items.

Click Home, click the arrow next to either the Bullets or Numbering button, and then click Bullets and Numbering. Tip: To quickly change the style of a bulleted or numbered list, just click the style you want in the list that appears when you click the arrow next to Bullets or Numbering.

Select the entire bulleted list. Click Home, and then click Paragraph>Line Spacing. Choose the number of line spaces you want from the drop-down menu, or create custom line spacing by choosing Line Spacing Options....Change line spacing between bullets in a list Select the list.Click Home>Paragraph Dialog Box Launcher.

To create a bulleted list, use the unordered list tags <ul></ul> and list item <li></li> tags as shown in the example below.

Choose a new bullet or numbering format Click a bullet or number in the list that you want to change.On the Home tab, under Paragraph, click the arrow next to Bullets or Numbering. Click the bullet or numbering list format that you want in the Bullet Library or the Numbering Library.

Hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) while clicking a button to display the Bullets And Numbering dialog box. Choose Bullets And Numbering from the Paragraph panel or Command panel. For List Type, choose either Bullets or Numbers. Specify the settings you want, and then click OK.

Define a new bullet Select the text or bulleted list you want to change. On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click the arrow next to Bulleted List. , and then click Define New Bullet. Click Symbol and then click the symbol you want to use. Click OK.

Go to File > Options > Proofing. Select AutoCorrect Options, and then select the AutoFormat As You Type tab. Select or clear Automatic bulleted lists or Automatic numbered lists.

Right-click the bullet and select Adjust List Indents in the pop-up menu. In the Adjust List Indents window, change the Bullet position to adjust the bullet indent size or change the Text indent to adjust the text indent size after a bullet.

From the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, select the Bullets drop-down list. Select Define New Bullet . Select a bullet character and alignment options, and click OK . The custom bullet is inserted.
