Put your cursor where you want one page to end and the next to begin. Go to Insert > Page Break.

Go to Format | Borders And Shading. On the Borders tab, click the Horizontal Line button. Scroll through the options and select the desired line. Click OK.

On the Format menu, select Document, and then select the Layout tab. In the Section start list, choose the kind of section break that you want.

Section breaks enable you to split a document into several sections, enabling you to apply different formatting and layouts to each section. For instance, having two sections in a document enables one section to have portrait orientation and the other to have landscape orientation.

Show or Hide Formatting Symbols Click Home tab. Click Show/Hide ¶ button. The hidden formatting symbols are now shown. These symbols represent spaces, new paragraphs, page breaks, and other bits of text and page formatting. Click Show/Hide ¶ button again.

Open the Page layout menu. This will open a selection of editing options at the top of the editor. Click Adjust Page Breaks. This will cause Add page break buttons to appear throughout the resume.
