Design Required Field Text For Free

A text field is a basic text control that enables the user to type a small amount of text. When the user indicates that text entry is complete (usually by pressing Enter), the text field fires an action event. If you need to obtain more than one line of input from the user, use a text area.

By default, a TextField is decorated with an underline. You can add a label, icon, inline hint text, and error text by supplying an InputDecoration as the decoration property of the TextField . To remove the decoration entirely (including the underline and the space reserved for the label), set the decoration to null.

The maximum length of a text field can be 255.

The size attribute specifies the width of a text field (in number of characters). The default value is 20.
