A business owner may specify a "50/50" term, which means that a 50% deposit is payable on receipt of an order, and the balance is due on the customer's receipt of the product or service ("50% deposit, balance on delivery").

Required Deposit means the funds necessary to be advanced by a Lender to Agent on a Settlement Date to restore Lender's Percentage of the then outstanding balance of the Note to the Percentage set forth in Section 1.29.

A deposit provides an added level of security for the seller by creating a binding, often non-refundable agreement for full payment once the sale is completed.

One of the most compelling reasons to request an upfront payment is that it lowers your risk. Whether you're getting paid an hourly rate or a flat amount for the whole job, if the agreement and payment terms state that payment will be made after the work is completed, there's no assurance your customer won't back out.

State clearly how much you want to receive in an upfront payment, how much work that covers (in percent or hours) and when you expect the deposit to be paid. Let the client know that the deposit is a way to secure the both of you.

Select the field that you want to require always has a value. In the Field Properties pane, on the General tab, set the Required property to Yes.

If the required fields are not mapped when the connector runs, it will give this error. This error means that either a mapping was missing in a step of your connector, the field was missing in the response, or there is an issue with your Skip-If formula if you're using one.

Summary: Using an asterisk to mark required fields is an easy way to improve the usability of your forms. Only marking optional fields makes it difficult for people to fill out the form.

Create and use fill-in fields Position the insertion point where you want the text that will be entered by the user to appear. Choose Insert ? Field. In the Field names list, choose Fill-in. In the Field Properties Prompt box, enter the text you want to appear to prompt the user for input.
