Place your fingers under the left side of the paper, and gently push them under the sticky portion to release the note. Then, pull the Post-it up in one level motion. The sticky note will stay completely flat, and you've avoided the dreaded lifted corner.

The Sticky Notes app is like any other application included with Windows 10. You can launch it by opening the Start menu, searching for Sticky Notes, and clicking the shortcut. Once launched, you can right-click the Sticky Notes icon and select Pin to Taskbar if you plan to use it frequently.

You can pin Sticky Notes to the Windows taskbar to create a new note quickly. Right-click the Sticky Notes icon in the taskbar, and then click Pin to taskbar. Next, if you right click or tap and hold on the Sticky Notes icon in the Windows taskbar, you can select New note.

Open Sticky Notes. From the list of notes, click or tap the plus icon ( + ) in the upper left. Or from the keyboard, press Ctrl+N to start a new note. Create a note by doing any of the following: Type a note Use the keyboard to type out your note. Click or tap the close icon ( X ) in the upper right to close the note.

To stick a note to any Microsoft word document, right-click on the note title and choose the Stick To Window option from the menu, as shown in the below picture. Alternatively, press Ctrl+W from within the sticky note.The note will stick to the particular word document.
