The sending fax machine has a fax log, which details the number of pages, time, and duration of fax transmission. A common way to view your fax log is by opening the web browser. Then, type your printer or fax IP address (often appears as four sets of numbers separated like this: 123.123. 123.123).

From the printer tap the Setup icon, then select Fax Setup. Next select Advanced Fax Setup and set the Fax Confirmation as Off. Also ensure that Fax Error Report is set as Off.

To print a fax report: At the control panel touch screen, touch Device, then touch Tools. Touch App Settings?Fax App. Touch Print Fax Reports. Touch the desired report, then touch Print. Touch Close.

The easiest way to tell your fax was completed or delivered successfully is if your fax machine prints a confirmation page. It's a one-page summary that details the date, time, recipient's fax number, and the number of pages sent. Most fax machines print out this confirmation by default.

From the Home screen on the printer control panel, select Reports, and then select Fax Reports. Select the log or report to print or view. Select the Print or View button.

Your received faxes and printed pages may be cut off if the paper is loaded incorrectly in the paper tray or the paper size setting is not programmed correctly.
