Explain what limited or manufacturer warranties cover and how extended warranty or accident protection plans can fill in the gaps. Give them all the information they need to make the decision that's right for them. Don't be too pushy and don't bog down their purchase journey with extra screens and forms to fill out.

Clarify what the warranty does and does not cover. Be specific when writing out exactly what the warranty does and does not cover. For example, if your product malfunctions, write out whether you will pay for new parts, as well as labor. Do customers have to go to you for repairs, or can they use outside vendors?

What to include in a Warranty Policy? Covers any defects in materials used to manufacture your product. Covers any defects in workmanship under normal use. Covers any broken components under normal use.

Create an extended warranty sales script Not everybody will say no, so mention it to every single customer. Bring it into the conversation early. Sell the benefits of extended warranty as you would any other product on your shop floor.

Identify how long the coverage lasts. Sample language could read: ?This warranty lasts for five (5) years from the date of original purchase of this product.? If the warranty lasts for the life of the product, you could write: ?This warranty lasts for the lifetime of the product.

If you have multiple categories, mention the list of products and what warranty period exists for each. An example can be: The Warranty Period for Physical Goods purchased from My Company is 180 days from the date of purchase. You can also address the warranty status of products that have been repaired under warranty.
