To remove Bates numbers from a PDF file: On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Marks group, click the arrow next to Bates Number and click Remove Bates Numbering. Click OK at the confirmation prompt, and the tool will scan the document and remove all instances of Bates numbering.

Select Document > Bates Numbering > Add with or without an open document to access the Add Bates Numbers dialog box. Click Add Files and browse to select all files for this stamping session. Preview files as necessary. Check file order, because the Bates numbering will be applied in the given file order.
