Select Edit > Insert > Bates Numbering > Remove to permanently remove Bates numbers from currently open files. Other header and/or footer elements, if any, are retained. An information box instructs you how to interpret the results of the operation.

To remove Bates numbers from a PDF file: On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Marks group, click the arrow next to Bates Number and click Remove Bates Numbering. Click OK at the confirmation prompt, and the tool will scan the document and remove all instances of Bates numbering.

How to Add Bates Numbering in PDFs Choose Organize > Bates Numbering > Add. In the Add Bates Numbering dialog box, add files (from local drives or ECM), folders or opened files by clicking Add Files, Add Folders or Add Open Files.Click Output Options.
