Full and final settlement is the process of calculating all the dues payable to an employee who resigns, retires, or is removed by the management. The settlement process is not just limited to the salary drawn by the employee but also deductions.

Full and Final Settlement commonly known as FnF process is done when an employee is leaving the organization. At this time, he/she has to get paid for the last working month + any additional earnings or deductions. The procedure has to be carried out by the employer after the employee resigns from their services.

As you are aware, my last day of work was [date], and I have completed all of my pending tasks and handed over my responsibilities to my successor.

Previously, the settlement of salary and dues was completed 45 to 60 days after an employee's last working day, and in some cases, it extended up to 90 days. However, the new wage code mandates that companies must complete the full and final settlement within two days of an employee's last working day.

Calculated as the number of days of compensation multiplied by the gross salary divided by 26 (Avg. number of working days per month). Non-availed leaves & bonuses: Non-availed leaves and any bonus or credits, which as per the Company policy, can be encashed by the employee during the settlement.

FnF Settlement is also known as the Full and Final Settlement. It is a process of calculating different payable dues to an employee who is resigning, retired, or terminated, from an organization. In this FnF policy, an employee has to be paid for the last working month and tax deductions & bonus earnings.

Ing to the new wage code, companies must have to pay the salary and full and final (FnF) settlement to their employees within two days of their last working day. At present, companies pay their employees full and final settlement after 45-60 days from their last working day.
