Insert a watermark On the Design tab, select Watermark. Choose a pre-configured watermark, like DRAFT, CONFIDENTIAL, or DO NOT COPY. For placing a logo or image, Select Watermark > Custom Watermark > Picture watermark > Select Picture. On the same menu you can create a custom text watermark.

Anywhere between 500 and 1000 pixels wide will work for most image sizes. Drag and drop your logo into your new document or select the text tool to add text.

Generally, a watermark should: Large, colored watermarks, detract from the image as they can compete with the subject too much. Be placed in a descreet area of the image that does not interfere with the view of the image, but will make it more difficult to remove or clone out. Have limited text.

The most common position of a watermark is in the bottom right corner. This way it doesn't take away the attention from your image. However, if you position your watermark in any of four corners, it makes it easier for thieves to crop it out. Watermarks are secure only if you use them properly.

We recommend the Image Size between 500px 1000px. That way if you need to Scale your logo down you won't lose quality. Once you have a document sized 500px 100px with a white background and your Logo centered it is time to turn it into a custom Brush.

Tuck it away in the bottom right or bottom left, big enough to be seen, but small enough that it doesn't distract. Aside from the natural framing that you've created for your photo, there usually isn't too much going on in the corner of your pictures.
