Official transcripts are directly uploaded by your counselor. Official transcripts are ones that are directly uploaded to Going Merry by your counselor or administration office. Unofficial transcripts are typically accessed directly by the student via the grading or student document portal that your school uses.

It includes your enrollment history, grades that you got, credits earned and attempted and average of grade-point. The classes would be arranged in chronological format by the enrollment semester or the quarter. The grade-point average may be given individually for each quarter, but total cumulative average is given.

In order for transcripts to be considered official they must be: Printed on security paper directly and/or displaying an official raised seal from the college or university, per the institutions standard practice.

Official transcripts are issued in portrait format and contain the seal of the university and the signature of the University Registrar. Unofficial transcripts are available to current students via self-service from the Student Information System.

Official transcripts are sent directly from one school to another. They're usually watermarked and signed for authenticity and (unless it's a digital version) they'll be sent in envelopes that are specially stamped and sealed.

They detail your academic history, including your grades, the courses you have completed, and whether or not you graduated. They may also list additional information, such as a history of academic probation, honor code violations, or awards for your school performance. Your transcripts can unlock academic doors.

Transcripts that have been in the hands of the student such as student copy/unofficial transcripts are not considered official. Unofficial transcripts are printed on plain paper and do not have a college seal or registrar's signature. Unofficial transcripts cannot be used to transfer to another college or university.

Official transcripts are printed on official transcript (blue and white) paper. It must bear college seal and the signature of the Director of Records. Electronic transcripts are considered official if delivered securely through the National Student Clearinghouse.
