A blockout (also blockmesh or graybox) is a 3D rough draft level built with simple 3D shapes, but without any details or polished art assets. The goal is to prototype, test, and adjust the foundational shapes of the level.

Level design is the phase of game development that deals with creating the stages of the game. Unlike environment design, which focuses on background and scenery composition, level design incorporates player capabilities, game mechanics, obstacles, and discoverable elements that create a positive user experience.

The game allows head-to-head competition between two players, each of whom has their own pit and blocks. When one player completes a face, all the cubes in the opponent's pit are raised by one level.

In block format, the entire text is left aligned and single spaced. The exception to the single spacing is a double space between paragraphs (instead of indents for paragraphs).
