I recommend kids 13 and up to watch this because I think 13 is when you start to understand a lot of things. You start to go through 7th grade, so you understand a lot more from friends, classes, or even parents. In conclusion, this show is amazing, and I recommend it to 13 and up!

Netflix has said that this series is appropriate for children ages eight and older to watch. And that seems true. If your kid is eight or older, they'll likely be fine. The first episode is not scary at all, but it does feed into the anxiety of children who might own cell phones or are active on social media.

Not for young teens Main characters start off pretty sweet and silly but show gets much heavier as the series goes on. Lots of explicit sex talk, sex between young teens, drug use, gang shootings, deaths of main characters.

Old is rated PG-13 by the MPAA for strong violence, disturbing images, suggestive content, partial nudity and brief strong language. Violence: A woman has a seizure. Several dead bodies are seen. Several people are attacked with a knife, in two cases fatally.

This book is about a girl who was raped and finds ways to cope with this awful occurrence thought out her highschool career. It does discuss sensitive topics which is why I think only 15 year-olds and up should read this. As a part of her coping, she finds momentary closure with having sexual relations with others.

The storyline is quite mature so probably not suitable for younger teens. There are 2 sex scenes and scenes with nudity. In both scenes the woman is on top of the male and showing breasts. These scenes last for around 10-seconds.

Extraction (2020) Rated R for strong bloody violence throughout, language and brief drug use.

Parents need to know that Get Out is a horror-thriller directed by Jordan Peele that tackles timely issues related to race in a very thoughtful way. In many ways it's an essential movie of its moment, but it's still got plenty of mature material, making it best for older teens and up.
