To assign a license to a user On the Products page, select the name of the license plan you want to assign to the user. After you select the license plan, select Assign. On the Assign page, select Users and groups, and then search for and select the user you're assigning the license.

Go to Admin Console > Users. Review details of users to avoid a wrong assignment. If a user isn't added, or their name/email is incorrect, add the user, or edit user details. For license reassignment, unassign, then reassign.

In the admin center, go to the Users > Active users page. Select the row of the user that you want to assign a license to. In the right pane, select Licenses and Apps. Expand the Licenses section, select the boxes for the licenses that you want to assign, then select Save changes.
