Arrange Bullets Title For Free

Change the level of a bulleted or numbered items in my listClick the bullet or number that has moved out of position.On the Home tab, under Paragraph, click the arrow next to Bullets or Numbering.Point to Change List Level, and then click the level that you want.

Click one of the bullets at the level you want to change in the document. Right-click the bullet and select Adjust List Indents in the pop-up menu. In the Adjust List Indents window, change the Bullet position to adjust the bullet indent size or change the Text indent to adjust the text indent size after a bullet.

Click one of the alignment options, which are small icons with tiny lines, in the "Paragraph" section of the ribbon/toolbar. Click the "Right Alignment" button to right-align the bullets, click the "Center Alignment" button to center the bullets.

Sort a list alphabetically in WordSelect the list you want to sort.Go to Home > Sort.Set Sort by to Paragraphs and Text.Choose Ascending (A to Z) or Descending (Z to A).Select OK.

Click anywhere inside of the paragraph in which you want to align your bulleted list. Click the dialog launcher in the lower-right corner of the Paragraph section of the Home tab to open the Paragraph dialog box. Note the number in the Before Text box in the Indentation section. Click "OK" to close the dialog.

A quick tip on a discovery I just made: You can quickly reorder bullet points in Microsoft Word putting the caret in the bulleted item to be reordered (i.e. click on the item), and then use Alt+Shift+UpArrow or Alt+Shift+DownArrow to reorder the selected item within the list of bullet points.

Now you can start sorting the list by click the Sort command under Home tab. In Sort Text dialog box, choose Paragraphs and Text for the first 2 text boxes. Then select either Ascending or Descending. Lastly, click OK.

Click and hold just before the first bullet item to place the cursor there. Drag your mouse down to the last bullet item that you want to alphabetize, then release the button.
