Position the cursor at the beginning of the next page and press Delete. Or, click the Show/Hide option in the Paragraph group on the Home tab to display the page break element, highlight it, and press Delete. Manual breaks are probably the easiest break problem to find and resolve.

Page break: Use a page break (in a word-processing document only) to move a line of text to the top of the next page or to start typing on a new page.

To remove a page break you added in manually, click the Home tab. Click Show/Hide ¶ to display the page breaks in your document. Find the manual page break you want to remove and double click the page break to highlight it. Finally, hit the Delete or Backspace key to remove it.

Scroll down until you see the Page Layout options (Compatibility Options in Word 2019 and Word in Office 365). It is at the very bottom of the dialog box; you may need to click the arrow at the left side of the options to see them all. Make sure the Split Apart Page Break and Paragraph Mark check box is selected.

Go to Layout > Breaks > Page.Click or tap in the document where you want a page break.Go to Insert > Page Break.
