- Add any other taxes from Schedule 4 and ensure the schedule is enclosed.
- Sum up the total taxes owed from lines 8, 9, and 10 to report on line 11.
- Determine any applicable credits from Schedule 5 and offset credits from Schedule 6, attaching those schedules as well.
- Subtract your total credits from the total taxes owed to calculate any refund or amount due.
- If expecting a refund, provide the necessary direct deposit information including routing and account number.
- Finalize your form by signing and dating it. If applicable, check the box for accounts outside the U.S.
- Save any changes made to the form, and download or print your completed document for your records. Share or submit the form as per your filing requirements.
