- Part II addresses partial interests and restricted use property. Fill this out if you provided less than an entire interest in a property listed in Part I. Enter the letter corresponding to the item from Part I and provide totals and any restrictions.
- Section B is for donated property over $5,000. Complete this section if your individual item or group of similar items exceeds this threshold. You will need to describe the property, its condition, and provide an appraised fair market value.
- In Part II of Section B, list any items valued at $500 or less that were identified in the appraisal. Sign and date this section.
- Complete the Declaration of Appraiser if applicable, ensuring it contains necessary qualifications and signatures.
- Finally, obtain the donee acknowledgment from the charitable organization, verifying its eligibility and confirming receipt of the property. Ensure all sections are properly filled before finalizing.
