The person who signed the power of attorney form has a right to revoke the agent's authority, as long as they are of sound mind.

You can revoke your power of attorney anytime if you have sufficient mental capacity to understand that you are revoking it. You do not need anyone's permission to revoke it. Destroy the original power of attorney and any copies. Although not required, it is always best to have a written revocation.

A durable Power of Attorney will continue in effect after you become incapacitated. A nondurable Power of Attorney will end if you become incapacitated. However, in Pennsylvania all Powers of Attorney signed on or after December 16, 1992 are durable unless the document specifically states otherwise.
