SPF Retirement, Total Disability and Death benefits shall be credited to the bank account of the SPF MEMBER/beneficiary within three (3) working days from approval of said benefit claim.

Duly accomplished Application Form for Funeral Benefit. Death Certificate of member issued by LCR OR PSA. If claimant is not a GSIS member, Birth Certificate issued by LCR or PSA or two valid government issued IDs with date of birth and signature. Support date of birth, marriage or death with birth/baptismal certificate, marriage contract or death certificate (original duplicate/certified true copy/certified photocopy) duly registered with the National Statistics Office/ Local Civil Registrar Office/Parish/Church.

For primary beneficiaries to be entitled to monthly pension, deceased member must have paid at least 36 monthly contributions prior to the semester of death. If with less than 36 monthly contributions prior to the semester of death, a lump sum amount is granted to the primary beneficiaries.

Affidavit-death forms are used to change the title on rea​l property after the death of a joint tenant, trustee or trustor.
