Total possible scores range from 0 – 20, with lower scores indicating increased disability. The MBI developed by Shah et al. [5] is a 100-point rating scale of a patient's ability to perform 10 kinds of ADL. Each activity is assigned a numeric value ing to the patient's requirement for assistance. Lower scores indicate less independence, whereas higher scores indicate greater independence.
