Get Proposals Are Now Invited For Core Council 2009-2010 Academic Year

This guide provides a comprehensive overview of the process for filling out the proposals for the Core Council 2009-2010 academic year. Follow the instructions carefully to ensure that your proposal is complete and adheres to all guidelines.

Follow the steps to successfully complete your proposal submission.

1. Press the ‘Get Form’ button to retrieve the proposal form and open it for editing.
2. Complete the Core Council Proposal Cover Sheet by filling in the organization name, project title, budget requested, and contact information. Ensure that this is done for each event if multiple submissions are being made.
3. For the Core Council Project/Event Proposal, type the project/event title and provide a brief narrative that describes the project, including tentative dates, locations, and a schedule if applicable. Make sure to mention any speakers or performers charging over $100.
4. In the Purpose section, explain how the project aligns with the goals of the Core Council and describe how it will benefit the UCSC community.
5. Indicate the number of students projected to benefit from the project by filling in the respective numbers for undergraduates and graduates.
6. Detail the Organization Experience & Campus-Wide Impact by listing previous events or projects organized within the last year, including titles, locations, attendance numbers, and total budgets.
7. Prepare an itemized budget in the Project Budget section, providing specifics and researched estimates for each item/service required for your project.
8. Once the proposal is complete, create 12 clean and legible copies of the entire proposal packet, including all forms and supporting documents.
9. Submit the 12 copies to the Core Council, c/o SOAR Office by the specified deadline. Sign up for a presentation time when submitting.
10. Prepare your representative to present during the scheduled time and answer any questions regarding the proposal.
