The Late Schedule Adjustment form must be sent to the Office of the University Registrar at regsite@gmu.edu by the final approver (Department Chair / Course Dean). As part of the approval process, you (the student) will need to sign that you acknowledge responsibility for any additional charges the changes may cause.

The Office of the Registrar is the “Keeper of the Academic Record.” We ensure integrity and accuracy with a students' academic history. We facilitate registration, make updates to academic records, evaluate transfer credit, and provide services, such as transcripts and enrollment verifications.

Late class registrations require an account in good standing. Past due balances are subject to a late payment fee that is 10% of the balance, up to $125.

For undergraduate courses, a minimum grade of C (2.0 on a 4.0 scale) is required. For graduate courses, a minimum grade of B (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) is required. Graduate students must obtain advance written approval from the director of their graduate program and the graduate dean of their school/college.
