Do my thesis or dissertation committee members need to sign the committee page? Certifying committee members approve the thesis or dissertation electronically. There is no signature page, but rather a committee page listing your certifying committee members in the manuscript.

26, 2022. The university went through its second rebranding in four years, changing the "UofSC" logo mark back to its original "USC" branding in January. The "UofSC" name was adopted in 2019 to differentiate the university on a national scale.

We do require one letter of recommendation as you're applying to Carolina as a first-year or transfer student. Some students may want to share an additional letter of recommendation to provide another perspective or additional information. We're happy to receive an additional letter as part of your application.

First-year applicants should submit official transcripts of all high school and college coursework completed. One letter is required from either your school counselor or a teacher from your school. Some programs may require additional letters of recommendation.

Students are encouraged to submit their transcripts electronically. Information about sending e-transcripts can be found here. Letters of recommendation that cannot be submitted through the Common App can be sent to admlors@usc.edu.
