Nority Biomedical Research Support Program (MBRS) Research Initiative for Scientific Enhancement (RISE). This program is committed to enhance the research environment at minority serving institutes by providing academic advisement, biomedical research training and graduate school preparation to students from groups typically underrepresented in the biomedical sciences. RISE Scholars are expected to participate year-round. During the academic year, students are eligible to work a maximum of 20 hr.
