This program allows certain nonimmigrant visitors to seek admission for business or pleasure and solely for entry into and stay on Guam or the CNMI without a visa for a period of authorized stay not to exceed 45 days.

All eligible international travelers traveling to Guam or the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) without obtaining a U.S. visa must complete Form I-736 for each trip.

Visa options for Guam A paper or embassy visa is the only visa available for travelers visiting Guam. The visa is typically a stamp or sticker added to the passport. Travelers must obtain this visa from a local embassy, consulate or visa center before traveling.

Instructions: This form must be completed by every nonimmigrant visitor not in possession of a visitor's visa, who is a citizen of one of the eligible countries *enumerated in 8 CFR 212.1(q) and is applying to enter and remain on Guam or the CNMI for a maximum stay of forty-five (45) days.

U.S. citizens and permanent residents don't need a visa to go to Guam—or live on Guam. In fact, American citizens and residents traveling to Guam technically don't even need to present their passports/Green Cards. However, having your passport and/or Green Card at the ready is always a good idea, just in case.

Complete and sign the Forms I-736 and I-94 provided by the airline. Not travelling onwards to another destination in the United States. Not apply for an extension of stay, adjustment of status or change of non-immigrant status. Hold a passport valid at least six months on entry with two blank visa pages.
