CNAs in rehabilitation centers work with patients recovering from injuries or surgeries. They assist with therapy exercises, mobility, and other aspects of rehabilitation. Some CNAs provide care in patients' homes, assisting with ADLs and providing companionship.

Helping patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) CNAs are primarily responsible for helping patients with ADLs, such as bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, and moving.

CNA stands for “certified nursing assistant,” an entry-level role that provides vital support to both patients and nurses. From transporting, bathing, and feeding hospital patients, to stocking medical supplies and logging patient information, CNAs are on the ground working to enhance patient outcomes.

Duties Clean and bathe patients. Help patients use the toilet and dress. Turn, reposition, and transfer patients between beds and wheelchairs. Listen to and record patients' health concerns and report that information to nurses. Measure patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
