The University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) is one of four public universities within the University of Houston (UH) System, governed by a Board of Regents. Each has its own president and administration, and is responsible for generating funding to supplement support received from state appropriations.

The SG Print Lab houses PCs and printers that currently enrolled UF students may use to print up to 250 pages for FREE each semester (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Print balances are applied during the breaks between semesters, usually the week before classes begin.
