The parking of motor vehicles and trailers upon the highways, roads and streets in the county for a period longer than twenty-four (24) hours is hereby prohibited; except when not otherwise prohibited adjacent to property lines of owner's residence or business.

A maximum of one (1) untagged or inoperable motor vehicle, in ance with the criteria below, may be parked or stored on any lot: Any untagged motor vehicle shall remain in running condition and shall not be deemed inoperable.

To report an abandoned, unregistered, or inoperable vehicle or bicycle that is on a public road: Call: 240-773-6411, Press 3 and leave a message. Email: abandoned.vehicle@montgomerycountymd.gov.
