Eligibility. Federal Graduate PLUS Loans are available to graduate students who have reached their annual or lifetime borrowing limits under the Direct Unsubsidized Loan. These loans can cover your remaining summer costs of education not covered by other aid received.

You can get financial aid for studies as long as you remain eligible. So if you play ing to those rules you might be able to get a student loan for second master's.

The process to request Federal Direct Loan funds and disburse them into your student Financial Account will take approximately 3-5 business days. Be aware that once the funds disburse, they will no longer show as anticipated aid. However, within the same day, you will see the funds posted to your Financial Account.

There are two types of Cal Grants awarded at Cal Poly Pomona – Cal Grant A (Entitlement Awards) and Cal Grant B (Competitive Awards). The eligibility criteria for the Cal Grants are established by the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC).

Not Pursuing an Undergraduate Degree -- Graduate level students (beyond a Bachelor's degree) are not eligible to receive a Cal Grant award.

The Graduate Business Fee Grant assists eligible students in meeting the cost of the Graduate Professional Fee assessed by California State University professional business graduate programs.

A Grad PLUS Loan is credit-based. If your credit isn't strong, you will need an endorser to cosign it. Unlike other federal direct student loans, there's no borrowing limit—it's up to your grad school's cost of attendance.
