When Will It Be Available? OHP Bridge will be open for applications starting July 1, 2024. Uninsured adults with income between 138 and 200 percent FPL will be able to apply. Until then, adults between 138 and 200 percent FPL will be able to keep their OHP thanks to the Temporary Medicaid Expansion.

Financial Requirements To be eligible for this Medicaid program, the income limit is 300% of the Federal Benefit Rate (FBR). As of 2024, this means a single individual cannot have income in excess of $2,829 / month, or more than $33,948 / year.

Contrary to how income is counted, all resources are counted regardless of whether they belong to the applicant, the spouse or both of them. The resource limit for a single person is $2,000. If the Medicaid applicant is married, his or her spouse is allowed to retain an additional amount between $25,728 and $128,640.
