Here is how to upload a photo while creating an OFFER post: Log into My Freecycle. At the top right side of the page, click on "My Freecycle" Then click on the "My Posts" tab. Click on the "Manage" button of the post you want to add a photo to. The message maker will open.

Here's how it works: When you sign up with Freecycle.org, you join one or more local Town groups and/or invite some local friends to form a Friends Circle. You make posts about things you want to gift or receive. Other members reply and then you arrange a pickup time and location.

How long does post approval take? This depends on the Town group, and also on what the Moderators are doing. It varies from half an hour up to about a day. Remember that moderators have lives (some of them, anyway) and so they might not be looking at the posts all the time.
