There are no driver license or minimum age requirements for OHVs operated off-highway in Nevada. City and county governments may designate small portions of public streets for access to or from off-road areas only and some age restrictions or other requirements may apply.

A person operating an off-highway vehicle on a highway (street) must be at least 16 years old and possess a valid driver's license. The operator of and any occupant in the off-highway vehicle must wear a helmet. All traffic laws must be obeyed - Speed Limits will be enforced!

In Nevada, UTVs and other off-highway vehicles can be driven: On all unpaved public roads unless prohibited by local laws. On paved public roads for up to 2 miles for the purposes of traveling to, from, and between OHV areas when allowed by local laws. On a section of road that is part of an official OHV trail.

All ATV/UTV drivers must have a valid Driver's License, be at least 18 years old, and must have proper insurance to operate on City streets. ATV/UTVs and carts shall only be used on public roads.
