- Complete Part A of the application form. This includes providing contact information and confirming eligibility by checking all applicable boxes.
- Develop a preliminary Scope of Work in consultation with program staff. This document outlines the tasks to be performed by the selected Energy Auditing Firm.
- Select a prequalified Energy Auditing Firm using the provided list in Appendix A. Solicit proposals based on your Scope of Work.
- Submit Part B of the application form, including the selected firm's cost proposal, the finalized Scope of Work, and any other required documents such as a governing body resolution.
- Once your application is reviewed and approved, you will receive an Application Approval Notice. This notice is valid for six months.
- Contract with the approved Energy Auditing Firm to conduct the energy audit. Ensure that the audit is completed within the six-month timeframe.
- After receiving the Energy Audit Report, submit it along with the Energy Audit Incentive Request Form to request the first incentive payment.
- Implement the recommended energy efficiency measures and submit the Measures Implemented Form along with relevant invoices to request the second incentive payment.
