The Oregon Environmental Quality Commission is a five-member panel of Oregonians appointed by the governor for four-year terms to serve as DEQ's policy and rule-making board. Members are eligible for reappointment but may not serve more than two consecutive terms.

We only test for emissions compliance.

If your vehicle is new (model year within the last four years) it is exempt from the testing requirements. If your vehicle is beyond the four-year exemption, however, please review Testing Requirement and Options. No paperwork from the vehicle purchase or from the DMV is required for this initial test.

Be sure to bring: Your entire DMV registration renewal form with sections 1 (insurance information) and 2 (signature of owner) completed. DEQ accepts Cash, PIN-less Debit/Credit card (VISA, MasterCard or Discover) or money order to pay for the emissions test AND your DMV registration fees.

After your vehicle is repaired, but before you return for a re-test, please note that most vehicles will not pass inspection if the "Check Engine" light is illuminated on your dashboard.
