There is no cost to submit a LOMA application. LOMR-F applications do have a fee because FEMA has to look at changes after the flood map was done. You can find the fee for LOMR-Fs and other application fees at fema.gov/food-map-related-fees.

If a property owner believes their property has been incorrectly mapped in a Special Flood Hazard Area, homeowners, property owners, or their representatives may submit a request to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for a Letter of Map Change (LOMC).

A Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) is the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA's) official modification to an effective Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM).
