You can order a transcript online anytime from virtually anywhere. Transcript orders are free. However, Licensure requests, overnight mailing and special handling have an accompanying cost. If you are making an licensure request, please make sure to upload your Licensure form so that your order can be completed.

Institutions that are open are required to maintain and service transcript requests. Transcript requests for CLOSED for-profit institutions: Please call 1-888-224-6684 (Toll Free) or visit https://app2.fldoe.org/publicapps/cie/request.asp to complete a transcript request form.

Mention the name of the course you took, the date of graduation, and the years attended. Give the reason you need the transcript — mention the company's name or college asking for a transcript. Describe how urgent you need the document. Remember to provide a postal address where the transcript can be sent.

Most colleges allow you to order copies of transcripts online, by mail, or in person via the office of admissions or registrar's office. You'll complete a transcript request form, pay a small fee, and may have to provide proof of identification. Sound simple?

On the Student Center page, select “Transcript and Verification”, then click on “Request Official Transcript”. Select the CUNY Institution from which you are requesting a transcript and have attended/enrolled. Enter in your email address and then click “Continue”. Confirm your personal information is correct.

How Long Do Colleges Keep Transcripts? College transcripts do not expire and schools are obligated to maintain transcripts for all students who have enrolled in and attended their institution — regardless of whether or not that student graduated.

To get an official copy of your transcript, contact your school's registrar. In most cases, you don't even have to call or go in person; the registrar's office may have an online form for requesting your transcript. You can usually pay the transcript fee online too.
