It is important that you pay any restitution ordered by the court. Until the restitution is paid in full, the court system or the victim may take your Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) or other assets to satisfy the debt. Failure to pay restitution or to apply for your PFD may affect your probation.

If you don't respond to a jury summons, you can be held in contempt of court and be fined or imprisoned or both. Read the summons that you receive to find out how to respond.
