Eligible individuals must have at least a 640 credit score or 660 for multiple-section manufactured homes. MSHDA Loans fall within certain parameters for income limits. The limits vary depending on the area and family size and are ultimately determined by both income and the sales price of the home in question.

Launched by the state Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) and the State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA), The Good Housing = Good Health Program provides funding to local health departments to hire community health workers who help people find housing resources and lead healthy lives.

“The MSHDA DPA programs have always required repayment, however they occasionally offer limited time programs that are in the form of a grant or forgivable loan,” said Thelen. “Typically, repayment is due when the home is sold or when the first loan is paid off or refinanced.”
