How do I officially change my program? Undergraduate Studies: Refer to the Student Services website to obtain the required form(s) to declare your degree and major: https://.uwinnipeg.ca/student-services/forms.html. These completed forms need to be submitted to Student Central.

Declaring or Changing a Major When a student has completed 60 credit hours toward a degree, they must have declared and been accepted into a degree program. This declaration does not need to be final. You may change your major at any time. The Change of Major/Minor form is used to declare or remove majors.

While it does vary from college to college, generally speaking, most ask students to declare their chosen major by the end of their sophomore year. This gives the students time to explore various electives and get some gen ed courses out of the way. This way, your junior and senior years can really focus on your major.

To declare your major please submit a General Petition to our advising center via email: hhpadvising@ uh . edu. No appointment necessary! You are required to have a minimum GPA listed below AND to be currently enrolled or have completed one course within the major desired.

Declaration of Major Students declare their major program when they complete the appropriate form and submit the form to the Dean's office by March 31.

When a student declares a major he/she is indicating which major he/she would like to pursue. In the College of Business students can declare Accounting, Finance, International Business, Management or Marketing. When a student is admitted into their major, that means he/she has met the admission requirements.
