Glens Falls Senior High School is an above average, public school located in GLENS FALLS, NY. It has 638 students in grades 9-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 12 to 1.

In 2012, Glens Falls High School changed their start time from 7:45 am to 8:26 am to allow for students to get more sleep. As one of the first schools in the area to do so, many studies were done to see how the later start time affected student success rate.

The former Glens Falls High School building on Glen Street was built in 1905, replacing the original Union Free School District No. 1 which had burned down in the same location three years prior.

Glens Falls is home to many architectural gems that have withstood the test of time. The monument at the intersection of Glen and Bay honors 644 Civil War soldiers from Queensbury. A large portion of Glens Falls has architectural and historic significance.
