Get 2022 Application Form For Japanese Government (mext) Scholarship(undergraduate Students)

MEXT scholarship tests are quite challenging. They are also long, and you need to be able to focus for a few hours in a row, especially for the undergraduate MEXT scholarship. All tests have multiple-choice questions, except for the math tests and some parts from the Japanese tests.

Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT) has started to recruit the 2023 MEXT Scholarship students who wish to study Japanese language and culture. Utsunomiya University are pleased to announce the recruitment for this scholarship is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students!

Visit the website of Japanese Embassy of your country. Under the Education / Scholarship tab, you will find the MEXT scholarship. Download the MEXT scholarship application form and fill it. Submit the required documents (list given below) to Japanese Embassy of your country.

Requirements: Be between 18 and 30 years old. Have completed 12 years of education or have a high school diploma. Be enrolled as an undergraduate student in a country outside of Japan before applying and be able to return to that institution upon your return from Japan.

[Grading standard example designated by MEXT] Applicants must have minimum GPA 2.30/3.0 or higher to be able to be eligible for MEXT applicant.

Each grantee will be provided monthly with 143,000 yen(Research Students(non-regular students),144,000yen (regular students in Master's courses or professional graduate courses), or 145,000yen(regular students in doctoral courses).

General Outline Scholarships are tenable from April each year. Grantees will hold their award for five to seven years, including the one-year preparatory education in the Japanese language. The Japanese Government provides return airfare, school fees and a monthly grant of ¥117,000 (subject to change).
