Firstly, what are district designated funds (DDF)? They are the 50% portion of total contributions made to the Annual Programs Fund by Rotarians, clubs and others in our district in the Rotary year three years prior to the current year.

District grants fund small-scale, short-term activities that address needs in your community and communities abroad. Global grants support large international activities with sustainable, measurable outcomes in Rotary's areas of focus.

At the end of every Rotary year, contributions directed to the Annual Fund-SHARE from all Rotary clubs in the district are divided between the World Fund (50%) and the District Designated Fund, or DDF (50%).
