N NOT LATER THAN the last day of the month terminated! Premium payment is required for the month in which the insurance company receives notification. Under Colorado law*, departing employees may continue medical, and dental, coverage under an employer-sponsored group health plan IF they were covered under the employer s current group plan, or any group plan it replaced, for the 6-month period prior to their termination of coverage.
