Installation Access Anyone coming to Fort Lee for the FIRST TIME without a federal identification card, or with an expired access pass, MUST go to the Visitor Control Center (VCC) with a valid government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's license) to receive an initial background check.

A Common Access Card is required to enter the base; those who do not have one will be required to submit to a background check at the Fort Lee Visitor Center before entry to the post may be approved.

***Visitors are required to present the following documents to enter Fort Lee: Valid Drivers License. Valid Vehicle Registration. Proof of Insurance. In addition, all adult passengers are required to present identification.

5. Non-CAC holder visitors, contractors, and vendors must have a valid state or federal issued ID to be granted entry to Fort Lee. 6. Fort Lee Visitor Center Personnel will conduct National Criminal Information Center (NCIC)-111 checks for individuals requiring entry onto the installation.
